Did you know that the city of Porto was the origin of the name of our Country? It has one of the most appreciated wines in the world, Porto Wine.
Porto is recognized as one of the most charming cities in Europe and as a destination that cannot be missed.
Included in our tour we will have a small cruise on the Douro River (1h) and a visit to a Porto Wine Cellar with a wine tasting at the end.
In the afternoon we will take a trip through history and architecture and we will visit the Cathedral of Porto, with a stop at São Bento Station to observe the tiles and the beautiful Stock Exchange Palace.

• For any cancellation made between 72 hours and 24 hours before the tour, you will be charged 25% of the amount paid and refunded of the reminiscent.
• For any last-minute cancellation made 24 hours before the tour, you will not be refunded on the amount paid.

to expect but loved every minute of the tour. She went above & beyond!

Kathy and I were in Portugal for only 6 days in March 2022, so we didn’t want to waste any time trying to find our way around. We were staying in Lisbon and wanted to go on day trips to Porto, Sintra and Cascais. Susana was our tour guide for this private trip to Porto and we liked her so much, we booked her for two days later for a private tour of Sintra and Cascais. Susana is an encyclopedia of knowledge about the area because she was born and raised in a town near Lisbon and now she lives in Lisbon. She speaks excellent English and kept our attention as she told us about the history of Porto. We walked through the city center and learned about the beautiful buildings. We shopped a bit as we walked, then had a fabulous lunch in a beautiful restaurant (can’t remember the name) Susana chose. After lunch we went on the river cruise and saw the 6 different bridges that span areas of Porto then we walked to the winery to learn how Port wine is made. After the wine tasting, I bought several bottles to take home as did Kathy. Delicious. It was so nice to drink what we wanted and leave the driving to Susana.

Great experience! Susanna was superb. She has great knowledge and customized activities to fit our needs. We could not have asked for more. Susanna made certain we saw as much as possible and explained everything so well.
