We start by visiting Fátima, getting to know the Shrine of Fátima, a place of cult of the Catholic Church, where in 1917 Virgin Mary appeared to the three little shepherds.
Once in Batalha, we will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, also known as Monastery of Batalha, which has one of the most beautiful architectures in the World and is part of the World Heritage List defined by UNESCO, since 1983. It was classified as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal.
If you are still not impressed, then the great and imperial Sea of Nazaré is waiting for us. Here we will visit the beach of Nazaré, where you can watch the famous, so-called biggest waves in the World.
Then we will head to one of the most beautiful and important medieval towns in Portugal, Óbidos, which is located in a fortress. As you walk inside, you can admire this town, which is one of the most picturesque and best preserved in the country and is the stage for fairs and events which portray the medieval era. A true Museum Town.

Fatima was serene spiritual place. We arrived early so it was quiet and peaceful. Susanna was an amazing guide she let us take us take our time where needed. we were never hurried.
I felt like I have known her forever even though we just met. She made sure we saw everything and more. Susanna is enthusiastic and her knowledge was amazing and always making sure we were comfortable and happy. I would recommend her to my closest friends and that says a lot.

We had an amazing day with Susana on this tour! We loved each stop and the time spent at each was perfect! Susana was friendly, accommodating, and a wealth of knowledge. We had an excellent lunch at a local seafood establishment in Nazare at her recommendation. Fresh seafood selected by you and prepared specially for you. Despite the rain, the day couldn’t have been more perfect!
Obidos and Three Monasteries
Walking the walls of Obidos and then, eating pastries and drinking the local, historic cherry liquor was so fun! Visiting all three very different monasteries was a busy but enjoyable day. The final monastery, Christ the King in Tomar, was the absolute highlight for me. Susana our guide was amazingly knowledgeable and excited about all her country has to offer. A wonderful day! I highly recommend this day trip our of Lisbon.
